Chocolate Cakesicles
What do you do with left over cake when you cut the tops off to level layered cakes? I have always wanted to try and make these cakesicles and I finally had left over cake from making my three layered birthday cake recently.
I was inspired by Jaina @cocoaandsilk. She makes amazing looking cakesicles. You have to check out her feed to see them.
I didn't purchase a mould to make these, instead I just moulded them by hand, into the shape of ice-creams. They are not all perfect but they come out pretty cute. I'm thinking of purchasing some cakesicle moulds as these were a big hit amongst family and friends. I made some for my friend's baby shower lunch and everyone loved them.
Hope you get a chance to make some as they were so fun to make.
